Aynor defeated Crescent 8-2 Friday night to win the 3A state softball championship.
Crescent tallied a run in the bottom of the first inning and made it stand up, beating the Aynor Blue Jackets 1-0 and forcing a third and decisive game for the title on Friday night at White Knoll High School.
On Monday, the latest dominant Blue Jackets鈥 performance came in Game 1 of the Class 3A state championship series facing off against the best softball program this country has ever seen. All Aynor did was jump on Crescent and win 7-1.
